Kublr Breaks the Next Frontier of Kubernetes Adoption with Multi-Site Orchestration in Kublr 2.0. Private Preview

Announces Kublr Cloud, Kublr Accelerators, and Source-Available License at
KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2019

SAN DIEGO, California, November 18, 2019 – Kublr announced today Kublr Enterprise Platform 2.0 Private Preview providing reliable multi-site orchestration as well as a number of new service offerings designed to help enterprises jumpstart their Kubernetes journey at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2019.

Kublr’s recent rapid acceleration in customer acquisition ranging from financial services, retail, telecom, among other verticals has been instrumental in shaping new capabilities in response to real-life enterprise needs.  “Our mission is to ease cloud native adoption for enterprises with heterogeneous environments and strict security and governance requirements,” explained Slava Koltovich, Kublr CEO, “Kublr’s multi-site orchestration ability, Kublr Cloud, and Kublr Accelerators represent three giant leaps forward.”

Kublr Enterprise Platform 2.0 includes multi-site orchestration allowing enterprises to reliably orchestrate multiple clusters across multiple regions, data centers, and clouds – breaking yet another frontier in Kubernetes enterprise adoption. Kublr is the first provider to enable a truly enterprise-wide cloud-native platform.

“Providing reliable production environments that deliver value to customers faster, enterprises are increasingly adopting Kubernetes. Yet, roadblocks still remain —Kublr is committed to knocking them down one by one,” explained Koltovich.

“That’s why, as of today, Kublr also offers Kublr Cloud and Kublr Accelerators,” continued Koltovich. These two new offerings are designed to jumpstart Kubernetes adoption for enterprises new to cloud native technologies. Kublr Cloud is a fully-managed Kubernetes service speeding enterprise Kubernetes adoption, even if internal capabilities haven’t yet been built. Kublr Cloud is the first managed offering built for large enterprises that can run in highly restrictive environments, across different clouds.

Kublr Accelerators are packaged services and subscriptions to support organizations migrating their workloads to a new cloud-native environment. It includes application migration, building a CI/CD pipeline and cloud native stack, as well as operational maintenance.

“We are increasingly seeing enterprises refusing to depend on a single vendor — there is no appetite for lock-in,” continued Koltovich.  “They wish to see the source code their mission-critical applications rely upon, built on top of it, and contribute.” Kublr Platform Enterprise subscriptions are being enhanced with a new Source-Available License which will provide enterprises with unprecedented flexibility and control over their Kubernetes managed infrastructure. Kublr’s source code can be used as a foundation for internal development, speeding the development of an internal platform all while getting support from the Kublr team with Kubernetes deployment and operations.

Kublr 1.14.0, Kublr’s newest release, also includes a technical preview of Kublr Version Management which enables enterprises to easily upgrade from one Kubernetes version to the next.

Kublr is a proud sponsor of KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2019.
