Previously, Calcote led software-defined data center engineering at Seagate, up-leveling the systems portfolio by delivering new predictive analytics, telemetric and modern management capabilities. Prior to Seagate, Calcote held various leadership positions at Cisco, where he created Cisco’s cloud management platforms and pioneered new, automated, remote management services.

Description Fernando Cardoso is a Solution Architect at Trend Micro and brings more than 10 years of experience working in the cybersecurity field. Previously, he worked as a Network Engineer and a Sales Engineer, with Datacenters, Cloud, DevOps, and Cybersecurity remaining the center of his passion. Description Shalom Carmel is the CIO of GlobalDots, a web, cloud and security integration partner. Shalom is an information technology expert with strong business and technological skills. An entrepreneur at heart, Shalom is always looking for ways to improve on the status quo, and is experienced in working both in multinational mega-corporations and in shoe-string startup operations. A couple of years ago Shalom became a published author with his book called 'Hacking iSeries'. Shalom is also a well known speaker having participated in several security conventions including BlackHat, DeepSec, and Hackin9.
 
Description Jeff has worked as a software engineer and architect in multiple industries and as a developer advocate helping engineers get up to speed on Apache Cassandra. He's involved in multiple open source projects in the Cassandra and Kubernetes ecosystems including Stargate and K8ssandra. Jeff is the author of the O’Reilly books Cassandra: The Definitive Guide and Managing Cloud Native Data on Kubernetes.

Description Alex Chalkias is a Product Manager at Canonical working with data center solutions such as Kubernetes and Ceph. He has 8 years of work experience in telecommunications, project management and IT consulting and has also been involved in projects related to volunteering as a member of the TEDxAthens team. He has a Master’s degree from the school of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Patras. During his studies his main occupations were programming and new technologies, such as Augmented Reality and Human – Computer Interaction. Technology and how it can be used to improve people’s lives is the subject that he is most passionate about. Description Matt Chotin is Sr. Director of Developer Initiatives at AppDynamics, charged with leading AppDynamics products to better support developers in improving improving performance and achieving business outcomes. Prior to AppDynamics, Matt held product leadership roles at Chegg and Adobe and co-founded his own startup.

Description Anthony Cusimano is a Kubernetes Expert at Veritas Technologies. He has spent his entire professional life performing a plethora of roles at Veritas - starting in quality assurance automation and quickly moving into full-on software engineering. Anthony cut his teeth building a greenfield product that stretched the limits of what a modern DevOps program could look like. After project completion, he moved into a sales architect position focusing on cloud solutions - changing the way the team talked about the next-generation portfolio.
