Twistlock Announces Support for Amazon Web Services Security Hub

Integration Pulls Twistlock Container Security Platform Insights to Flow into the AWS Security Hub Dashboard

PORTLAND, OR, November 28, 2018– Twistlock, a leader in container and cloud native cyber security, today announced it’s now working with Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) to push Twistlock security intelligence for cloud native applications and services into the unified AWS Security Hub dashboard. As an AWS Partner Network (APN) member, Twistlock customers are now able to access a centralized and comprehensive view of all potential container and cloud native vulnerabilities, compliance issues, active threats, and firewalls through the AWS Security Hub.

Twistlock provides customers with additional protection on services like Amazon Elastic Container Registry (Amazon ECR), Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS), Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), and AWS Lambda, as well as self-managed container and cloud native deployments on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). Organizations using containers, serverless functions, or CaaS frameworks like AWS Fargate benefit from Twistlock’s centralized platform to protect cloud native applications on AWS against threats.

“Twistlock already helps secure customer workloads across a wide variety of AWS services,” said Dan Plastina, Vice President, Security Services, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “Its integration into AWS Security Hub means that enterprises can now access security intelligence and protection capabilities.”

“While there’s no question that cloud native is the way forward for enterprise application architecture, efforts continue to be made to make the cloud even more secure,” said John Leon, Vice President of Business Development and Alliances at Twistlock. “Twistlock is working on creating additional layers of security by giving customers the control and insights they need to deliver trust and reliability to end users, and meet HIPAA and PCI compliance requirements. With this integration with AWS Security Hub we’re continuing to make it easier for customers to see all of our advanced security and compliance intelligence in whatever interfaces and tools they prefer.”

AWS Security Hub is designed to provide users with a comprehensive view of their high-priority security alerts and compliance status by aggregating, organizing, and prioritizing alerts, or findings, from multiple AWS services, such as Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Inspector, and Amazon Macie as well as from other APN security solutions. The findings are then visually summarized on integrated dashboards with actionable graphs and tables.
